The KingVAC Combo is a Combination High Pressure Jetting and Vacuum Recovery System that has been developed for the drain cleaning, sewage and liquid waste industry.  This Unit has a powerful jetting system which is able to clear debris from pipes up to 170meters away and back flush the debris back to the point of entry where it is vacuum loaded into the debris bin for disposal.

Debris Collector Body

• Usable Capacity 5.5m³
• Cylindrical construction in 6mm 350 grade steel with torispherical ends, one of which is a full opening hinged door with hydraulic latching
• 3 point mounting system allowing for chassis torsional movement
• To effectively clean and rinse the tank interior, multi-directional, high pressure water spray jets are fitted
• Incorporated into the tank design is a unique maintenance free de-watering system assisting in acheiving maximum payloads
• The tank includes a high level shut down system with a mechanical ball float and isolated backup with a pneumatically controlled isolation valve that is actuated in vacuum pump on/off modes

Water Tanks

• Total Capacity 6000 Litres (4x 1500 Litre inter-connected tanks)
• The tanks are roto-moulded, high density polypropylene being UV stabilized with excellent strength characteristics
• Each tank has a 1500 litre capacity, being mounted in a modular type format.  They are mounted opposite each other, encasing the outside wall of the debris collector body achieving excellent weight distribution over the rear axles
• The tanks are interconnected and include an overflow, inspection vented caps with provision for hose clean-out and a quarter turn 75mm drain valve
• 50mm anti-siphon fill pipe fitted with a 50mm male cam-lock.  Complies to AS3500.1 for use with fire hydrants
• Large visual sight tube with an indicator float fitted at the rear of the unit allows visual inspection of water contents
• Manufacturers lifetime garuntee against corrosion

Boom and Hose Reel assembly

• The boom and hose reel assembly is an overhead type allowing jetting and vacuuming operations to be performed either simultaneously or individually at any point of they assembly's working radius
• The assembly has a working rotation of 200° with hydraulic locking
• The boom features a lift of 3.6 metres and an extension of 1.2 metres being hydraulically controlled with a counter balance valve for safety
• Includes a quality 150mm I.D. Rubber suction hose fitted to the boom with a female quick release coupling at either end to allow hose reversing and rotation to optimise hose duration
• The suction hos connection to the collector body is by a large air backed T-Piece with a quick release access blanking port cover to permit easy access for blockage cleaning
• The hose reel is fabricated from heavy gauge steel with rolled RHS reinforcement rings with hose outer retaining ring
• The reel is capable of storing on operating with 182 metres (600 foot) of 25mm thermoplastic type sewer hose
• The hose reel is hydraulically controlled in a forward and reverse motion allowing easy extension and retraction of the jetting hose.
• As well as being hydraulically controlled, the hose reel has a free-wheel function
• Includes hose guide rollers
• Hose reel speed controllers for both in and out functions have a soft start feature and are mounted in the main control panel

Vacuum Pump

• Make - Hibbon SN822
• Rating - 3500 m³/hr @ 500 mbar (2065 cfm @ 15 inHg)
• Roots type tri-lobe positive displacement vacuum pump
• Fitted with a heavy duty industrial silencer to reduce noise emission
• A stainless steel reusable pre-filter is fitted to the pump inlet offer protection from any carryover from the collector body
• 2x 75mm stainless steel vacuum relief valves are included to provide protection and cooling

Water Pump

• PRATISSOLI MS50 S/ST
• 155 Bar @ 263 l/m
• Provides high pressure and a high volume of water for the purpose of water jetting
• Pressure rated at 155 Bar (2250 psi)
• Flow rated at 263 l/m (70 gallons/minute)
• The pump features speed control to permit a variable flow control
• Two performance values are factory pre-set at 155 bar for drain cleaning and 55 bar for handgun use.  Pressure selection is activated by a switch located in the control station
• The high pressure outlet of the pump is fitted with a high capacity pneumatic regulator which features controlled soft start and stop modes thus reducing water hammer and shock.
• The regulator also serves as a relief valve and ON/OFF valve

Water filter - High pressure pump

• A large aluminium filter with a reusable stainless steel basket is fitted in the inlet water line to the water pump to protect the pump from impurities which may find their way into the water supply
• The water supply line to the filter has a quarter turn 75mm valve allowing water isolation, avoiding thank drainage whilst inspecting or cleaning the filter

Hydraulics

• A hydraulic pump is driven from a slit shaft power take-off for operation of the boom, hose reel, unloading and rear door functions
• The hydraulic reservoir is chassis mounted and has a capacity of 80 litres.  It includes a filter breather cap, sight glass, drain plug and a 10 micron return line cartridge oil filter
• All hydraulic functions are fail-safe
• The hydraulic hoses and fittings are all high quality and are rated well within maximum operating pressures
• All hydraulic systems have undergone a pressure test{/slide}

Drive Train - Water and Vacuum Pumps

• The Truck engine provides rotational power for the high pressure water pump, the vacuum pump and the hydraulics
• A split shaft power takeoff is mid-mounted between the truck transmission and the differential allowing drive transfer to both water and vacuum pumps
• The drive transfer from the power take-off to the water pump is via a uni-drive line shaft with the final drive by a flexigrip belt and cogged pulleys for the vacuum pump
• Both PTO drives to the water pump and the vacuum pump are operated through an air clutch allowing engagement and dis-engagement during normal operation of the unit
• A belt guard is fitted to the belt and pulley drive

Pump Compartment and Storage

• An enclosed compartment is located between the truck cabin and the collector body/water tank
• Two heavy section RHS rails aligned with the truck chassis and secured with fish plates and inturn channel steel, form the cross members and combining rails to provide secure mounting of the allied support equipment
• The floor is decked with 5mm checker-plate steel to ensure safe access for storage and routine maintenance requirements
• The compartment walls and roof are constructed from 40x40mm RHS with 25x25mm crossbars and clad in 2mm aluminium sheet
• On the passenger side of the compartment, there is large aluminium lockable roller shutter installed.  Below the shutter, a full length step is fitted.  It is covered with non-slip grating and also has a large handrail on either side to ensure safe entry and exit

Controls

• The KingVAC combo has three key stations from which it is to be operated.  These are
  • Drivers Cabin - to engage the engine, split-box and gear box
  • Pendant - for system operation and functions
  • Fixed Control Station - for unloading from the passenger side
• The illuminated truck cabin controls are within easy reach of the driver
• All cabin functions are supported by an indicator light on the button
• A park brake lock-out is fitted to prevent accidental engagement while the truck is in transit
• The main system control pendant is fitted with an 8 metre lead and plugs into the fixed control station.  It is easily removed for security and storage
• Unloading functions and supported options are located on the fixed control station mounted on the passenger side of the vehicle
• All system functions are linked to a high speed programmable logic controller (PLC) which communicates with the truck engines electronic management system to maintain constant power and torque without engine flare
• The PLC is fitted with a large LCD screen allowing quick reference for fault finding in the field

Safety Systems

• Two "Emergency Stop" buttons are fitted are fitted; one on the pendant and the other on the fixed control station.  When pressed, all functions will be de-activated and the truck engine will return to idle
• When the water in the water tanks run low, the pump will shut down to prevent it from running dry and causing damage
• When the debris bin becomes full, the vacuum pump will be de-activated
• The operator is made aware of system shutdown by indicator lights
• A safety lockout is included to prevent the water pump being engaged from the fixed station while the pendant is in use
• The vacuum and water pump functions must be reset after any shutdown had occurred
• The park brake must be activated before the system can be used
• The truck accelerator pedal is isolated when the system is engaged

Paint Work

• The body and boom assemblies are grit blasted to remove the rust, scale, dirt, grease and welding slag, then immediatley painted with primer/surfacer
• Gaps that are subject to water retention are filled with a flexible gap resin to prevnt rusting
• The primer/surfacer is fully sanded, then painted with two full coats of two pack urethane paint in a single colour.  Multiple/different colours are available at an additional cost

Signage and Labelling

• All operational and service points are clearly identified and labelled with permanent labels

Other Accessories

• 1x  Compact remote control.  Allows all system control functions to be operated from over 50 meters away from the unit.  Includes a leather case, spare battery and charger
• 3x  Night work Lights.  Powerful quartz halogen work lamps fitted with full swivel mounting bases allowing easy spotting for night work with on/off switch and isolation control within the truck cabin permitting them to be used as reversing lamps. 2 Lights are mounted on the rear of the debris bin and 1 is mounted on the end of the boom for pit illumination.
• 2x Rotating beacons.  Switched from inside the cabin.
• 1x Pump compartment light.
• 1x Hose Reel.  Fitted with 30 meters of 12.5mm ID hose, it includes a crank handle and transit lock.
• Storage Trays mounted in the lockable pump compartment are made of stainless steel and are the full width of the truck to facilitate the storage of vacuum extensions, tools, nozzles etc.
• 1x  Rear Door Valve.  A 150mm quarter turn valve allows the draining of light viscosity liquids from the debris bin.  Includes 100mm Travis coupler, dust cap and chain
• 1x  Gurney - Washdown gun.  Includes extension lance and rotatig nozzle.  Connects to the rear mounted hose.
• Sequence unloading.  Allows operator to unload in a specified sequence for added equipment protection and operator safety.  Consists of a series of sensors that control the unloading sequence
• Weight sensor indicator.  Upon reaching maximum legal road weight, an LED indicator lamp will be lit to alert the operator.
